Your registration and/or payment for any programme or course confirms your agreement with these terms and conditions.

Payment & acceptance of terms & conditions

To reserve your place on one of our programmes or purchase one of our courses please complete the payment form. Payment is due upon booking your place.

We will consider acceptance of Terms and Conditions by any Customer who has made a part or complete payment for the service. You are not required to sign these terms and conditions to be in acceptance of them.

Cancellation by registrant

If you wish to cancel your place on a programme you must notify us by email 7 days prior to the start date of the programme you are booked on. Please send your email to [email protected] Once we’ve received your notice within the 7-day period, cancellation will take effect and payment will be refunded in full. If it is less than 7 days until you are due to start a programme, we operate a no refund policy. Due to the nature of the business and the costs that are incurred immediately upon a customer’s acceptance and payment, we reserve the right not to refund monies under any circumstances.

Cancellation by event organiser

We will do our best to make sure all our programmes run without disruption. However, in the unlikely event that we have to cancel a programme we will make a full refund.

Acknowledgement of risks - assumption of responsibility

Although we have taken reasonable steps to ensure safety, participants at retreats/events acknowledge that activities may carry some risks, including certain risks which cannot be eliminated without destroying the unique character of the event/retreat activities We are not liable for any accidental injury, illness or in extreme cases, permanent trauma, disability or death or damage to or loss of property. Throughout the retreats/events, participants are responsible for their own safety. Participation in the retreats/events is purely voluntary, no one is forcing participation and participation is elected with full knowledge of the inherent risks.

Release and waiver of liability personal release

By agreeing to the terms outlined here and elsewhere on the website of The Diabetic Thrivers, participants on our programmes release and discharge their rights and claims for damages or liabilities that may occur as a result of participation on a programme, including but not limited to damages as a result of unexpected occurrences. Participants release Keren Feeney and The Diabetic Thrivers, from liability for personal injury, illness or emotional damage.
